Prologue:- Eyes of Obsession
Time: 10:00 PM
Place: Near an Abandoned Fort, Jaipur
Veeransh Rathore hated the rain. The icy droplets, the chill that seeped through his clothes, and the discomfort that followed-it was something he had always despised. Yet, tonight, the rain didn't bother him. Not even a bit.
The road to Mumbai stretched endlessly ahead of him. Flanked by dense forests on both sides, the darkness was impenetrable, with only his car's headlights cutting through the night. The mission he had come to Jaipur for was complete, and now, all that remained was to return with the evidence.
Veeransh's POV:
I took this deserted route because it was the fastest. Every minute counted when you carried something this dangerous-proof that could bring down an entire human trafficking network.
Everything was going as planned. Until...
I saw her.
Near the ruins of an old fort that had been abandoned for years, a girl was dancing. Alone.
Completely drenched in the rain, her body moved gracefully, as if she was one with the wind. But what struck me was the absence of music. There was no song playing-just the rhythmic sound of raindrops and the soft jingle of her anklets.
Who the hell dances in the rain... at night... Alone?
Her movements were pure, filled with an unexplainable passion. Her feet moved elegantly, her body twirling with a natural grace. She wasn't performing. She was expressing something... something raw.
I had seen women dancing before-hundreds of times. But this... this was different. She wasn't seeking anyone's attention. It felt like she was pouring her heart out in every step.
Without realizing it, I slowed the car and pulled over.I hated getting wet. But tonight... something pulled me toward her.
The rain soaked through my clothes the moment I stepped out, but I couldn't care less. I walked closer, my boots crunching softly against the wet ground. She was so lost in her world that she didn't notice me approaching.
Her long, straight hair clung to her back, dripping with rain. Her face was covered with a scarf, leaving only her eyes visible. And even from a distance, I could feel something magnetic in her presence.
What is it about her?
I took another step closer... and then another.
By now, I was just a few feet away. Her delicate features were partially hidden, but her movements... they spoke of untamed passion and pain. I couldn't stop myself-I reached out and placed a hand gently on her shoulder.
She froze.
A sudden stillness filled the air, as if time itself had paused. Slowly, she turned around.
And that's when I saw them.
Honey-brown orbs stared back at me-eyes that seemed to hold an entire universe within them. Fear and uncertainty flickered through them, but beneath that... there was something else.
Familiarity.
"Who are you?" The words slipped from my mouth before I could stop them.
I didn't know what I wanted. I just knew I wanted her to stay. To talk to her. To understand what was drawing me to her.
But she took a step back.
And then... she ran.
Her footsteps echoed through the rain as she disappeared into the forest. I stood there, frozen, unable to stop her. But as she ran, her bracelet slipped off her wrist and fell to the ground.
I bent down, picking it up.
It was a delicate star-shaped bracelet with a transparent pearl in the center. But what caught my attention was what was inside the pearl.
I brought it closer to my eye, and there they were again-those captivating brown eyes, etched like a miniature painting inside the pearl.
Who was she?
I wanted to follow her. But duty called. The files in my possession were far too important to risk.
But this isn't over.
I slipped the bracelet into my blazer's inner pocket and walked back to the car.

Scene 2
Five Years Later
Location: Mumbai
Veeransh's POV:
Five years had passed.
In these years, things changed a lot. I had built an empire of fear. Veeransh Rathore-the name was enough to make criminals tremble. But despite all the power I had gained, I was still restless.
Because I couldn't forget her. I tried to find her but there was no sign of her!
Those honey-brown eyes had become an obsession. They followed me in my dreams, in my thoughts... in every waking moment.
But tonight...
Tonight was different.
I wasn't here to chase shadows of the past.
Tonight, I was on a mission.
And I was going to destroy the bastards who dared to sell innocent girls.
"Kill all their men. The women will ensure the girls escape safely," I ordered, my tone cold and unforgiving.
My men nodded and dispersed quietly.
We had infiltrated their hideout with precision. The girls were being kept in a separate section, guarded by armed men. But they were no match for my team. Within minutes, the guards lay lifeless on the ground.
The girls had been freed.
But something wasn't right.
Where are the three main bastards?
We stormed toward the office where they were supposed to be. I kicked the door open-
Empty.
"They escaped!" I growled, rage simmering beneath my calm exterior. "Find them! Don't let them get away!"
My men scattered, searching the area while I took off toward the forest.
The night was darker than usual, and the rustling of leaves echoed eerily in the silence. I was on my bike now, my eyes scanning the dense trees as I sped through the path.
They can't hide for long.
And then... I saw him.
One of them was crouched behind a tree, trying to stay hidden.
"Pathetic," I muttered under my breath.
"Take down his men," I ordered softly through my earpiece. My men, well-trained and deadly, moved silently into the forest to eliminate the others.
I crept up behind the coward and yanked him out by his collar, throwing him onto the muddy road.
"You thought you could trap me?" I hissed, my voice deadly.
I didn't give him a chance to respond. My fists did the talking. Blood splattered, and his groans echoed, but I didn't stop. Not until I heard-
"Please leave me!"A girl's terrified voice.
My head snapped up.
Another man stood a few feet away, holding a knife to a girl's throat.
Shit.
I reached for my gun-
But...
Where the f**k is my gun?
I patted my blazer, checking the holster at my waist. Nothing.I checked again but found nothing.
How the hell did I lose it?
The man's grip tightened around the girl's neck. Her terrified eyes were begging for help.
I tried to distract him, taking a cautious step forward.
"Leave her, Rakshit!" I shouted, my voice carrying across the forest.
"No!" He spat, pressing the knife closer to her skin. "This bitch ruined us! She gave you all the information. If I die, she dies too!"
I took another step forward, my mind racing for a solution.
But then-
Bang! Bang!
Two gunshots echoed through the night.
Both men collapsed.
What the...?
My eyes darted around, searching for the shooter.
And then...
I saw her.
A female figure, dressed entirely in black, stood a few feet away. Her face was covered, her body draped in black clothes that blended with the night.
But her stance... her precision...
Who the hell is she?
She turned, moving toward a tall black horse that was tied nearby.
"She almost saved me! I can't let her go like this," I muttered, determination flooding through me.
I sprinted after her, reaching her just as she was about to mount the horse.
I grabbed her wrist and pulled her back.
Her body collided with mine, her breath hitching.
And that's when I saw them.
Her eyes.
But...
They were green.
A striking shade of emerald that pierced through me like a blade.
What the...
For a moment, I stood frozen.
They weren't the honey-brown eyes that had haunted me for years. But despite the change in color, those eyes... they held the same intensity.
The same pull.
It's her.
My heart knew it.
"Who are you?" The question slipped from my lips again, this time softer... almost desperate.
But before I could process anything-
Bang.
Another gunshot.
I turned to see the third man collapse to the ground.
Damn it!
When I turned back to her-
She was gone.
Riding away on her horse, disappearing into the darkness.
"Boss, are you okay?" One of my men's voices broke through my thoughts.
"I'm fine."
But I wasn't fine.
"Find out about that girl," I ordered, my gaze fixed on the path where she had disappeared.
"And bring these bastards to the warehouse. Send the girls to the hospital."
But this time... you won't escape me, Angel. My grip tightened around the bracelet that had never left my pocket. You're mine now. And I'll burn this world down to have you. ____________________________________________________________So this was the prologue of the first couple. Do let me know how it was in comment!!!
