Prologue: When Paths Collide
Scene 1
Time: 3:00 AM
Saira’s hands moved swiftly, her eyes focused as the monitors beeped steadily. The bullet was lodged dangerously close to his heart, and Avani wasn’t in the city to assist. With only a few junior doctors by her side, the responsibility was solely on her. Hours passed, but finally—he was stable.
As she removed her gloves and glanced at the man lying unconscious, her heart skipped a beat. Handsome… she thought, but she quickly shook the thought away, composing herself.
.....
When he woke up after surgery he wanted to thank her but when he saw her, the world stopped... he knew—she’s the one.
Ankush remained in the hospital for ten days, and though it was the work of juniors, Saira was the one tending to his wounds. Unbeknownst to her, Ankush had ensured she stayed close—an excuse to keep her near. But what neither of them realized was that she had already lost her heart to him.

Scene 2
Time:11:30pm
Location: A Small Treehouse Near the Forest
Days later, after being discharged, Ankush sat silently in his treehouse in forest, lost in memories of her. But his thoughts were interrupted when he noticed three women dressed in black, their faces covered, leaving only their eyes visible.
Are they the same three that have criminals trembling these days? His instincts screamed caution, but his heart was drawn toward one of them—the one with striking blue eyes.
Despite his injury, curiosity pushed him to follow them. He watched as they handed a man a briefcase.
“It has all the evidence,” one of them said, her voice calm but firm. “Make sure he’s punished… to death.”
As they turned to leave, Ankush’s heart overruled his mind. Before they could climb onto their bikes, he grabbed the hand of the one who had unknowingly captured his heart.
“Let her go before I slice your hand off,” the other warned, her voice cold and sharp.
Reluctantly, Ankush let go, but his heart ached at the loss of contact.
“I don’t mean harm,” he said softly. “I just… want to talk.”
“About what?”
“Work with us,” he replied, his voice firm but hopeful.
“Why would we do that?” one of them asked, her tone laced with disinterest.
“It’ll be your benefit… and the people’s too.”
The three of them stood silent, unmoved. But Ankush wasn’t done yet.
“Meet me at City Club this Saturday,” he said with finality.
They exchanged a brief glance, their body language making it clear that they weren’t interested. Without a word, they mounted their bikes and disappeared into the night.
But Ankush’s eyes lingered on the one with blue eyes.
You can ignore me now, but I know you’ll be there…
